Business Policies & Agreements

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING AGREEMENTS CAREFULLY. THEY CONTAIN POLICIES THAT ARE IMPORTANT FOR YOUR MASSAGE THERAPY SESSION(S). IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK FOR CLARIFICATION.

Rescheduling Policy

  • 24-hour minimum notice of rescheduling appt by call or email, otherwise full amount of service is applied and due at payment of next session. Please ask about rescheduling your appointment instead of canceling to avoid any fees.

Business Policies

  • All prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Payment for session(s) is due at the end of each session, and payments accepted are Cash and Card. Checks are not accepted at this time. If a client purchases a package, the full payment is due, and sessions are active after full payment is received. The travel fee is added onto the session fee and will be due with session payment. All physical gift cards and egift-cards are non-refundable and will not expire under CA law.
  • Events: A 20% Non-refundable deposit will be collected at time of booking for any events to confirm appointment. Appointments with more than one client may be considered an event.
  • If a client needs to take a call, the session will not pause, and the end time remains the same.
  • Pets- I absolutely love pets, but they may be distracting to the client’s relaxation. If your pet disrupts the session, it will not be paused, the session will end at the original scheduled time. Please put them in another room if you feel they will distract you.

Agreements

  • All information given on all client forms is correct and up to date. I take it upon myself to update any pertinent changes in my health history during future visits.
  • Client is NOT under the influence of drugs or alcohol and agrees to be present with good personal hygiene; client can get on and off massage equipment safely
  • All massage modalities offered are for therapeutic purposes ONLY. Therefore, any inappropriate or implicit behavior will result in the immediate termination of the session for which no refund will be given. The therapist will not hesitate to call the police for this behavior, if needed. Furthermore, that client will relinquish their privilege of being a client.
  • Control of pressure rests with the client throughout the session. Clients are responsible for their own bodies and can stop the session or request a different pressure at any time, if needed. Clients will be fully covered with a sheet “drape” at all times, and only the body part being worked on will be uncovered.
  • I understand that this massage is for stress reduction and relief of muscular tension or spasm, and this is not a substitute for medical examinations or treatments. The massage therapist does not diagnose illness, disease, or any physical or mental disorder, does not prescribe medical or pharmaceutical treatment, and does NOT do spinal manipulation.
